Area Development Program - We create cooperative farm, a basic unit of a village in North Korea, to promote a balanced development throughout the village.

World Vision works to help children in every country have a dream and live a better life.

“Village of Blooming Flowers” project in Kumsan Farm, Junghwa County

World Vision designates a cooperative farm, the smallest unit of a town in DPRK and carries out an area development
program there to keep the balance in the areas of agriculture, livestock, health, housing and education to develop the town.
Based on the successful agricultural development project carried on for a decade, World Vision cooperates with the
community to improve the quality of people’s life including that of children. This project is called, a “Village of Blooming
Flowers”, which stands for our hope and prayer for the community.
